How it works
Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable treatment that permanently destroys targeted fat cells using deoxycholic acid, a fat-digesting molecule naturally produced by the body. It is used to reduce submental fullness and refine jawline contour without surgery. Once injected into a localized fat pocket, it disrupts the fat cell membrane, allowing the body to naturally clear the debris over time. Because treated fat cells are destroyed, they cannot regenerate, making results long-lasting when weight is stable.

Is the swelling normal?
